Going Through The Motions: Early Experiments In Walking

A 2024 research practice project as part of my Master's degree. Looking at documenting a series of experiments engaging with a feeling of The Sublime while walking through landscape. Self-tracking, data collection, writing, sketching, and making were all carried out with the principles of from 'embodied practice' and 'Autoethnography' with the aim of engaging with the Sublime experience in a phenomenological way; through experiencing it rather than purely 'academising' it. All of the research findings were presented in an essay and presented at UWEs PROOF research symposium.
